Hi...

I am so honored you are here! The time of labor and birth is intense, vulnerable, and beautiful, and I feel completely privileged to walk alongside each mama I attend.

My journey into the birth world began back in 2016 when I was pregnant with my first baby. I wanted to pursue an unmedicated physiological birth and looked up a local Bradley Method childbirth class. The information I learned there opened my eyes to how intricately I was created to do this work of birth, and how much our mainstream childbirth system is lacking.

When I gave birth to my son, I felt so empowered and in awe of my capable body and my advocacy to have the birth I wanted in a hospital setting. Just under two years later I birthed our daughter and left that experience excited to go through the process again. However, a few years later, when I went in for my anatomy scan with our third (and final) baby, they discovered I had complete placenta previa and would require a c-section delivery.

I was heartbroken. I wrestled with being simultaneously grateful for the medical care that would keep both our daughter and myself safe, while also mourning the loss of getting to labor and vaginally deliver one last time. Now, with my three growing and healthy children, I look back and am so grateful for each of their birth experiences.

My passion for equipping women with knowledge and support to pursue their desired birth, coupled with my experience in having to accept birth doesn’t always go the way we want, led me to pursue my doula certification.

I LOVE getting to hold space for each pregnant mama to realize their natural abilities, while providing resources, education, and support along the way. Serving the greater Milwaukee area, I look forward to meeting you for a free consultation as you prepare for your own birth experience!

“Your empathy is unmatched. You make people feel seen & safe & cared for.”

“It’s a powerful blessing to have another woman present at your birth, someone who understands what is happening emotionally & physically when you’re in such a raw, vulnerable state. You came into the birthing space as both tender & emotionally present and also steady & equipped with knowledge & expertise. You strive to meet the needs of the birthing mama & offer fresh solutions while honoring the sweet space between the husband & wife.”
